Scholarship

The Door Peninsula Astronomical Society is proud to award four scholarships each year for current or future college students in STEM fields. More information can be found at the Door County Scholarship Network page, linked below. 

Support your education with help from DPAS!

The DPAS scholarship is a 4-year award for students pursuing a bachelor's degree in a STEM field, including: physical science, biological science, engineering, science education, mathematics, or math education.

The scholarship award will be paid as $1,250 per semester for eight semesters, for a total of $10,000.

​

The selection criteria for this scholarship are as follows:

  1. Academic Performance

  2. Standardized Test Scores

  3. Difficulty of Curriculum

  4. Advanced Placement Courses (if available)

  5. Financial Need

  6. Community Service - Volunteer Work ​​​
